Finding Where You Are vs. Where You Need To Be
Assessments include EEG, qEEG, and fqEEG, along with standardized testing to measure cognitive abilities, learning abilities, auditory and visual processing, speech and language, motor planning, and developmental reflexes are an integrated part of our process. This is how we determine each individual's brain function when they enter our program. This is your map to help you achieve your goals. So ask yourself, "How do you know where you need to go, unless you know where you are?"
This testing is conducted prior to coming into our programs and takes about four hours to complete - sometimes over the course of several days, depending upon the age of the child and the level of involvement. This is not a marathon evaluation, but rather a comprehensive assessment. We want to measure brain function, but not at the expense of your child's well being. Therefore, we may opt to assess over the course of several visits.
We take several measurements over the course of the program in order to define and then refine the on-going program. Most clients receive testing at the beginning of the program, mid-way through the program, and then finally, post program. It allows all partners, parents, child, professionals, and our team to evaluate and actually 'see' the results of the program and how it has successfully affected the functioning brain.
